What Is Surround Sound?
We're all about sound. If you love to listen to music, watch movies and television shows, or play video games, surround sound is for you. The next thing we will discuss has shaped our experience and how. Surround sound has been used for decades to create an immersive experience for listeners. While it's been available in most home theaters for years, its use also expands into home audio systems and mobile devices. Surround sound uses multiple channels, each with a dedicated speaker. You can hear the sound from every direction in a 360° radius in the two-dimensional plane. It means you can listen to sounds from your left and right sides and above and below you. It provides listeners with excellent audio ambiance and richer and fuller sound. As if our TVs couldn't get any better, they're about to get much more immersive. Surround sound is a technique that enhances sound spatialization's perception by manipulating sound localization. It can be achieved by using discrete and multiple audio channels. It means you can hear what's happening on either side, above or below! If you've ever watched something on TV with surround sound and thought, "Wow, this is way better than being in the theater," then you'll be thrilled when we tell you about the latest development in home entertainment technology: surround sound for your entire home! It works like this: You have a speaker system installed throughout your house in your kitchen, living room, dining room, and office and when you turn on your TV or computer or whatever else that has built-in speakers or an option for plugging in headphones or external speakers (like an iPhone), it will know which room those sounds are coming from and play them back accordingly.
