Harassment:

• Any form of bullying, threatening, mocking, shaming, or content that could provoke others to engage in such behaviors is unacceptable.
• Conducting or participating in repetitive or targeted harassment campaigns against individuals or groups is strictly forbidden.
• The use of derogatory language, racial slurs, or obscenities to disparage or attack any person or group is not allowed.
• Misusing TechDogs features, such as responses, private notes, mentions, follows, highlights, or requests, to annoy, harass, or unduly draw attention to your content is prohibited.

Privacy and Reputation:

• The publication of private communications without the explicit consent of all involved parties is prohibited. This rule applies regardless of whether personal information has been redacted.
• Sharing content that violates personal privacy or safety, including sensitive or confidential information like credit card numbers, social security numbers, non-public contact details, and other similar information, is prohibited.

Restricted Activities:

We do not allow posts or accounts that engage in the following restricted categories of activity:

• Promotion of controversial, suspect, or extreme content.
• Facilitation of gambling or betting
• Facilitation of buying or selling social media interactions, including off-platform
• Facilitation of sexual services
• Facilitation of copyright or other intellectual property violation
• Facilitation or evidence of violating the terms of service of TechDogs or third party(s)
• Providing reviews of businesses or products in a gratuitously harmful or abusive manner
• Facilitation of illegal hacking (e.g., stealing credentials, compromising personal data)
• Promotion of pseudoscience, disinformation, or other content that is contrary to public health or safety.

Restricted Categories:

• Controversial, Suspect, or Extreme Content: We prohibit the promotion of content that falls into these categories. Detailed policies on this can be found in our Help Center.
• Gambling and Betting: Any facilitation or promotion of gambling or betting activities is not allowed.
• Social Media Interactions Trade: We do not permit the buying or selling of social media interactions, both on and off our platform.
• Sexual Services: The facilitation of any sexual services is strictly prohibited.
• Copyright and Intellectual Property Violations: Facilitating or promoting the violation of copyright or other intellectual property laws is not allowed.
• Terms of Service Violations: Content or actions that violate the terms of service of TechDogs or any third-party services are forbidden.
• Malicious Reviews: Posting reviews of businesses or products in a deliberately harmful or abusive manner is not permitted.
• Illegal Hacking: We do not allow content that facilitates or demonstrates illegal hacking, such as stealing credentials or compromising personal data.

Graphic Content:

• Given the extensive reach of TechDogs, we advise users to be considerate of unintentional viewers, especially when selecting images for their posts.
• We do not allow media that is gratuitously graphic or disturbing, regardless of its subject matter.

Duplicate Content:

• We prohibit the posting of duplicate copies of the same content on TechDogs without any consent, or permission, whether from a single account or across multiple accounts. However, cross-posting content from your personal blog to TechDogs is permissible, provided you hold the rights to use the content and source.

Spam and Site Misuse:

• Prohibition of Spam and Misuse: All instances of spam or misuse on TechDogs will be immediately removed without notifications or explanations.
• Examples of Prohibited Behavior:
  • Posting content mainly to drive traffic to external sites, products, or services, or to boost search rankings.
  • Scraping and reposting content from other sources primarily for revenue generation or personal gains.
  • Posting duplicate content, regardless of whether it's from a single account or across multiple accounts.
  • Publishing stories where the content is truncated with the intent of redirecting to another website.
  • Engaging in excessive automated interactions, including bulk following (follow spam), clapping, highlighting, leaving notes, or flagging content.
  • Utilizing responses, mentions, or other interactions predominantly for promotion or marketing.
  • Participating in bounty campaigns or brigades to artificially manipulate rankings for posts, accounts, businesses, or products.
  • Employing or reusing slightly modified content templates across various posts and accounts.

Copyright and Trademark Infringement:

• Users on TechDogs are required to have permission to post the content they publish, in accordance with our Terms of Service.
• We have strict policies against plagiarism, which apply to all TechDogs accounts. Violations of our copyright rules do not qualify for warnings, appeals, or content restoration.

Cryptocurrency Accounts, Posts, and Publications:

• TechDogs does not endorse or verify any coin, token, financial advice, or similar announcements related to cryptocurrencies.

Consequences of Policy Violation:

• Account Suspension and Content Removal: We prioritize fairness in our approach but reserve the right to suspend accounts or remove content without prior notice. This action is primarily taken to safeguard our services, infrastructure, users, and community.
• Evasion of Suspension: If a user attempts to bypass a suspension by creating new accounts or posts, we will suspend these new accounts and posts as well.

Appeals Process:

If you believe that your content or account has been mistakenly restricted or disabled, or if there is additional context that we might not have been aware of in our initial decision, you are encouraged to reach out to us.

Reporting Violations:

Reporting violations is crucial to maintaining a safe and respectful community on TechDogs.com. If you come across a post or account that you believe violates our rules, here are the steps to report it:

1. Using the Report Button:
   • You can find the report button in the 3-dot menu on every post, response, and account page. Click on the 3-dot menu, and you'll typically see an option to "Report."
2. Sending an Email:
   • Alternatively, you can send an email to [moderation@techdogs.com] to report violations or seek assistance with any concerns related to content or conduct.

Government Takedown Requests:

• In the event that TechDogs receives a request from a government authority to restrict access to content associated with your account, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you of the request, unless we are legally prohibited from doing so or believe that such notification may pose a risk to others.
• Whenever possible, we will work to restrict content only in jurisdictions where we have a good faith belief that we are legally obligated to do so.
• TechDogs submits government requests to restrict content to the Lumen database, with any necessary redactions to protect privacy or prevent harm to individuals.
