What Is Circuit Bending?
The process of "circuit bending" is comparable to giving your antiquated electronic playthings a makeover in the style of hippies and hipsters. People will take toys or other pieces of electrical equipment and bend, tweak, and rewire their circuits to make new noises and effects that they did not anticipate hearing or seeing. This is an example of electronics that may be assembled by the user. Imagine that you are modifying the musical talents of your favorite stuffed animal by giving it a crazy haircut and piercing its ears, but rather than changing its appearance, you are affecting its musical ability. The production of music and one-of-a-kind electronic instruments using this technology is a peculiar and outlandish undertaking in and of itself. Circuit bending is experimenting with electrical gadgets' circuits to find new sounds and effects the creator didn't expect. This may be performed by various means, including switching the device on and off in a selection of different configurations, adding additional components, or even simply shorting out the parts already there. Even if you don't have a background as a musician or engineer, you can still become creative with electronics by using a technique called "circuit bending." This is especially important if you do not come from a musical family. For this project, you only need a rudimentary understanding of electronics, simple tools, and a drive to discover new things. Toy keyboards are one of the most popular things that are circuit bent because they may be reused into a whole new musical instrument that makes sounds unlike anything else you have ever heard. This type of sound is known as "circuit bending." Drum machines, samplers, and even vintage video game consoles may be circuit bent to produce one-of-a-kind and bizarre electronic instruments.
