What Is Burn-In Test?
Our exclusive Burn-in testing process is a way of life at our factory. We start with a simple test, plugging the monitor into a standard outlet. If it doesn't turn on immediately, we plug in another one. We repeat this process, sometimes dozens of times daily, until we can confirm that every monitor will come to life when it's plugged in. Burn-in testing is when materials, components and products are tested in conditions that may cause damage. It is done before the item has been built into a final product to ensure it can withstand the stress of use. Burn-in testing is also used for software. It is beneficial for software with many users, where testing the system under pressure is vital to ensure it works correctly. Burn-in tests are often performed on electrical products to avoid short circuits or overheating issues before the products are shipped to customers. Other types of equipment, such as cranes, forklifts, and heavy machinery, may also require burn-in tests to ensure they are working correctly before leaving the manufacturing facility. During the burn-in testing process, equipment is put through its paces to ensure that it is working and that there are no issues that could cause customer problems. The test can occur at an individual component level or the entire system. Each component is stressed for a pre-determined amount of time during the trial. If any of the devices are defective, it is most likely to be detected during burn-in testing. It notably applies to electronic devices where a burn-in test determines the maximum temperature it can withstand before shutting down. It's time for you to take a break. Put that computer through its paces with our Burn-In test. It will run for an extended time so that you can identify any potential problems.
