This is why the armed forces and the police and fire departments widely utilize UHF. However, due to their higher frequency, it is essential to remember that UHF signals are easily absorbed by a wide variety of items, including buildings, trees, and even live species like humans. Therefore, there is a chance that the signal will be weakened or not reach its destination in certain conditions. The verdict is in, and UHF is the champion of the radio frequency spectrum.
