What Is Pull Media?
Pull media is a new way of marketing. Rather than pushing your brand on customers, you wait for them to pull you in. Pull media is a media distribution model wherein customers are drawn to a brand through (SEO) and other non-intrusive techniques. The main objective is to enhance customer awareness regarding a specific brand and its products and to nurture demand. The pull media strategy is a great way to generate leads for your business because it is focused on the customer's needs rather than on pushing sales through aggressive advertising methods, as push media does. This strategy allows you to reach your target audience based on their interests rather than trying to force them into buying something they don't want or need just because it's being advertised everywhere they look. As pull marketing focuses on engagement rather than an interruption, it is also much more cost-effective than push marketing techniques such as television ads or billboards that can be seen by anyone (and often ignored). Businesses can do a lot to get their customers to come to them, but there's one thing they can't control what happens when the customer decides where they want to go. In the pull media model, the company's marketing efforts pull customers into a business. It means it's up to vendors to ensure their brand is compelling enough for customers to spend time researching and that their products are worth buying. The pull media model encourages customers to take their time and find out whether they're getting something out of a product or service, which means that vendors have more opportunities for engagement and making a sale. The push model is a one-way street. It's all about the content, and users are just along for the ride. Yet, in a pull model, it's more of a dance between content and user. The user pulls the content to them by interacting with it, clicking on links, commenting on posts, or sharing photos with friends. Then when do they do that? The content comes right back to them!
