What Is Network Access Server (NAS)?
When looking for a way to make your guests feel at home, why not provide them with a NAS? A Network Access Server (NAS) is a server that gives your guests access to the world beyond your walls. It's like a hotel room for networking—allowing them to log into their favorite apps and websites or even watch Netflix from their room. You can manage all of the connected users from one central location. As it's all behind the scenes, you don't have to worry about whether they can access what they require when needed! The internet is a magical place. You can find anything you want anytime, and it's all at your fingertips! But the only method to get there is through an ISP, which owns the pipes connecting you to the internet. ISPs use Network Attached Storage (NAS) to provide Internet access to their remote users. NAS enables simultaneous connections between remote users through a dialup linkage, wired/wireless medium, or multiple supported analog/digital connectivity interfaces. Upon successful user authentication, Internet access is granted. NAS is like the best friend you ever had. It's the one who always knows where to go, what to do and how much to pay. It keeps your calendar in order and ensures everyone who needs to know gets a heads-up on the latest events. If those events happen to be a little bit out of the ordinary (like your birthday party or New Year's Eve), NAS will ensure that you're always prepared for what's coming next. NAS is also there to help you set up new things like VoIP or FoIP services, so you can get more work done quicker than ever. It's like having a personal assistant—better yet, it takes care of itself!
