It allowed users to incorporate text, information, graphics, and charts into custom slideshow presentations. The application is now considered obsolete, but it was revolutionary for its time, and it still has some things to teach us about how we present ourselves today. Harvard Graphics was also the first business graphic software to offer a range of special effects, such as gradients, shadows, and 3-D rotations. While these options were not as robust as those provided by most photo editing programs, they significantly improved over the previous generation of business graphics software, which showed no special effects. Harvard Graphics was one of the first business graphic programs to provide a live preview mode, allowing users to see how their graphs would look with different shapes, sizes, and gradients before they were finished. In addition to this feature, Harvard Graphics was the first computer application that offered a built-in help system that would answer your questions by searching for relevant information on the main help topic. This was another innovative feature at that time. Harvard Graphics was also the first software to offer the ability to save presentations on a server. This allowed large groups of people to access the same presentation simultaneously, a significant advancement from previous presentation software offerings. Harvard Graphics also offered a variety of helpful templates to make it easier for users to create their presentations. Another essential component is the tuner, which is responsible for selecting the specific frequency of the radio wave you want to listen to. Think of it like a dial on a radio, where you can tune in to different stations by adjusting the frequency. Once the signal has been captured and tuned, it goes through a process called amplification, which makes the signal stronger and more easily processed. This is where the receiver's amplifier comes in. Finally, the signal goes through a demodulation process, which strips away all the extra noise and junk from the signal, leaving you with just the good stuff. This is where the receiver's demodulator comes in. After all this processing, the clear signal is sent to the speaker or display, depending on the type of receiver, and voila!
