What Is Duplexer?
When you were a child, you might remember using a yellow box with an antenna on the top. Yes, the same one. It's a radio transmitter gadget. Today we are here to talk something about that. The duplexer is the unsung hero of modern devices. You know that beautiful, shiny new gadget you just got? The one you can't stop staring at? It has many excellent features, and it's affordable. Did you know that the thing that allows it to work, lets your wireless headphones connect to your phone, is one of the most critical components in the entire device? It's called a duplexer, an electrical switch for radio communications. When two devices use the same antenna for communication, like when you're using your phone to talk on your wireless headphones, there must be some way to separate their signals. That's where duplexers come in: they let you send and receive different frequencies simultaneously on the same path so that interference doesn't happen between them. Duplexers, such as mobile phones and satellite communication systems, are essential for any mobile communication system. A piece of hardware has to switch between receiving and transmitting signals at different frequencies. The duplexer can be either external or internal. An external duplexer can be connected to the radio, and an internal one is built into the radio. The primary function of a duplexer is to prevent the feedback of the output signal into the input. When you're a transceiver, you're not just talking the talk. You're walking the walk. You've got your hands full with all transmitting and receiving, and if you don't switch between modes fast enough, your signals will be nothing more than interference. That's where duplexers come in: they help you keep your signal clear by allowing you to switch between transmitting and receiving modes quickly and easily.
