What Is Super-Speed Internet?
Super-speed Internet is the fastest Internet connection you will ever need. Super-speed Internet is so tight that it can download an entire Game of Thrones season in less than three seconds. Imagine how much more productive you'll be when you don't have to wait for your computer to download files. Super-speed Internet will also allow you to watch YouTube videos simultaneously as watching Netflix, Hulu and HBO GO without buffering or lag time. That's right. You can watch all four at once! If you're a gamer, Super-speed Internet will make online gaming even more exciting than it already is because you'll have an uninterrupted signal and high-definition graphics every time. Japan is the future. The US A may be big, but it's not as bright as Japan. Japan has its satellite to provide Internet access to remote parts of Japan and Asia. It's called WINDS, the Wideband Internetworking Engineering Test and Demonstration Satellite. The name WINDS is like a play on words: it's a pun on "wind" in Japanese, which means "to blow," and an acronym for Wideband Internetworking for Distributed Systems. WINDS is part of a Japanese space initiative to provide Internet access to remote parts of Japan and Asia. The satellite will use Ka-band frequencies to deliver high-speed broadband services with an anticipated throughput of up to 100Gbps from its perch in geostationary orbit at around 35,000 km above the Earth's surface, about twice as high as the International Space Station orbits our planet. WINDS believes the best way to provide super-speed internet is to build a solid, stable wireless infrastructure. We know you want to avoid being interrupted by your 'net connection on the day of an earthquake, storm or another natural disaster. So we build our network to be resistant to such incidents. You never know when you'll need your Internet connection, so ensure it's always there.
