What Is Rollover?
They say, "When you roll over a button, you're in for a treat" or something like that. Rollover is a JavaScript method used by developers to produce a reaction where the aspect of a graphical image changes when someone rolls the mouse pointer over it. Rollover also changes and refers to a button on a Web page that allows interactivity between the user and the Web page. It causes the controller to react by either replacing the source image at the switch with another embodiment or redirecting it to a different Web page. Rollover is a term used to describe the process of displaying an image when a mouse moves over another image. In this case, the primary image is hidden by default and only appears when a user's cursor hovers over it. When the cursor moves away from the primary photo, it disappears again. It is often used in websites because it creates a more interactive experience for users by giving them something to look at while waiting for something else to load or interact with on a page. Rollover images are a great way to add interest and interactivity to your website. Everyone loves them, even the people who don't know they do. Rollovers are easy to set up, but they can be confusing if you're unfamiliar with how they work. Here's how: First, choose your images. You'll need one for the normal state and one for the rollover state. The easiest way is to use image editing software and copy-paste the same image twice. Then you can adjust each one by changing its opacity, adding shadow effects, or whatever you like. Next, create a new HTML document and paste some text describing what happens when you hover over each image. For example: "The cat looks at you!" and "The cat looks away!" Don't worry about formatting. We'll get there in a minute. Next, add your images as background images so that when someone hovers over them, there won't be any space between the top of their mouse cursor and the bottom of their appearance (which will cause problems).
