What Is Natural Language Toolkit (NLTK)?
There's much to like about the Natural Language Toolkit (NLTK). It has many features, but it's also easy to use. It can help you do some pretty amazing things with language and data. It's got a bunch of different libraries, so if you want to tokenize text or analyze its grammar, you can do that. If you're putting together a model that classifies sentences based on their sentiment, or one that predicts the next word in a sentence, NLTK will help you out there too. If you need to do any stemming, tagging, or semantic reasoning… well, if you're a Python programmer with a penchant for the English language, this is the library for you! The Natural Language Toolkit is an open-source library for the Python programming language written initially by Steven Bird, Edward Loper and Ewan Klein for use in development and education. It's been used in projects ranging from automating news articles on Wikipedia to helping scientists analyze scientific literature. NLTK is like the brawn to your brain's brains. It's an extensive collection of corpora, lexical sources and other resources for natural language processing (NLP). Moreover, it has a multilingual interface and offers various search options. In addition to the standard Boolean search, you can also search for words that are likely to appear near each other, such as "apple" and "tree". You can also search for terms with a fixed order, such as "USA" or "Paris". Furthermore, you can also search for synonyms (words that have the same meaning). You can select a language from a drop-down list or type it in your preferred language. You can also search for conjunctions (often used together). With NLTK, you can efficiently process text with Python using tokenizers, parsers, and taggers. If you require assistance with anything human language data in Python, Ask NLTK will be there for you.
