What Is Macro Instruction?
Macro instructions are like magic. They're like a wizard who has learned to compress their spells into short witchcraft, which can then be used to cast a spell on whomever or whatever you choose. Think of it this way: when you're writing code, sometimes you want to do something repeatedly. So instead of writing out every single line of that code each time, you just put it all in one place—a macro—and then use it whenever you need it. It's like… if your mom was good at baking pies and decided to write down all her best pie recipes so she could bake pies faster. She'd have them all written down in one place so she could pick out whichever pie recipe she wanted! Macros are like the cheat codes of programming. They save you so much time and effort! If you've ever played a game where you can enter a code to instantly unlock all the characters, or if you're old enough to remember when people would cheat at Super Mario Bros. by memorizing the codes for each of the levels, that's kind of what macros are like in programming. They allow you to skip over some of the more tedious parts of coding and focus on what matters—the fun stuff! You can use macros when writing code that repeats itself often in your program. For example, if you have a function that performs some repetitive tasks, like searching through an array or looping through an array, using a macro will make sure that every time your program calls this function, it will do exactly what it needs to do without any extra work from you. The concept of a macro is a template. You write the template once and use it over and over again to create copies of itself, thus saving yourself time and effort. It's like going to the DMV, you're not going to get your driver's license every time you drive somewhere. But when you go, you'll still have to sit in that seat and hand over the same paper documents. That's what macros are like—they're used in situations where you want something repeated multiple times, making it easier on you!
