Numerous factors, including an unexpected increase in popularity, a viral social media post, or even a well-meaning online community spreading the word, can cause this. Don't worry! There are ways to keep your website from being taken down by the Hug of Death. One option is to upgrade your hosting package or use a content delivery network (CDN) to distribute traffic among multiple servers to increase your server capacity. By implementing caching and minimizing the size of your files, you can also optimize your website to handle traffic surges more effectively. Then again, you might ask yourself, "But what if we are not tech-savvy? How can I evade the Death Hug?" " The secret, my friend, is to plan. If you're introducing a new website or product, check that your servers can accommodate a sudden increase in traffic. It's also a good idea to regularly monitor your website to find any issues before they worsen. Don't worry too much if all else fails and you end up receiving the Hug of Death. This POM file is like the flour, sugar and eggs that go into making a chocolate chip cookie. You can't just make a cookie from those ingredients (unless you're good at baking). You also need some chocolate chips! In Maven's case, these are plug-ins that provide a set of goals that can be executed. Plug-ins handle all work. There are numerous Maven plug-ins for building, testing, SCM, running a Web server, etc., configured in the POM file, where some essential plug-ins are included by default. Like chocolate chips in cookies, these plugs allow us to add additional functionality to our projects while keeping everything together as one coherent entity.
