Some might say that helper applications are the secret sauce of the Internet. Syntactic sugar is a syntax change in computer programming that is easier for humans to code. For example, if you were writing code and wanted to add two numbers, you might use the plus sign (+). It is called infix notation—you can write the operation before or after its operands. Infix notation has been around since the dawn of time (or at least since someone invented algebra), so it's not new by any stretch of the imagination. However, there are many other ways to write an addition operation besides just using +: you could say 2+3 or 2 + 3 or even just "2" + "3". These are good ways to write an addition operation in JavaScript because it uses postfix notation instead of infix notation. Instead of putting + in between 2 and 3 as we would do "+", we put both numbers so that it looks like "(2)+3". It makes your code. There are two types of bit rates: fixed and variable. What's the difference? You know exactly how much space your audio file will take up with a fixed bit rate. The number of bits per second (bps) will be the same throughout the recording. It makes planning easy and ensures your storage space is big enough. It also means you might lose quality in certain parts of the recording if they use more bits than others. A variable bit rate (VBR) is an encoding method primarily used in communications and computing to improve audio quality compared to the file size ratio. Depending on the nature of the audio, the bit rate continuously changes during the encoding process to accomplish the VBR. It gives you better sound quality but requires more storage space since you sometimes only stare at a set bit rate. A variable bit rate is helpful if the nature of the audio changes during the recording process. For example, an interview or speech recording will have a much higher dynamic range than a music recording. It means that the audio volume will change significantly within a short period. VBR allows the recording to be encoded at a bit rate that matches the loudness of the audio. It results in higher audio quality, as the bit rate of the audio can be set so that significant changes in volume do not cause changes in bit rate, which would cause sudden changes in audio quality.
