What Is Global Area Network (GAN)?
Global Area Network (GAN) is the most excellent new way to connect with people worldwide. They're like the internet, but even better! They're what happens when you drop your phone in a lake, and someone finds it and turns it on again. You get all your stuff back—except now you know how to swim, so you can go ahead and get a boat instead of just waiting for someone else to come along and save your sorry butt. A GAN is a network comprised of interconnected networks covering an unlimited geographical area. It's kind of like a bunch of friends who decide to go on vacation together and then get in their cars and drive around until they find each other again, except instead of cars, they use computers, cell phones, satellites, and other gadgets—and instead of driving around aimlessly until they find each other again (which would probably take forever), they use GPS technology to track down each other's locations real quick! The GAN is a new network like a LAN and a WAN, but it's also like the most remarkable person at your favorite bar. It works in ways you haven't seen before, but you'll feel like you've known it forever when it comes into your life. If you're looking for something to do tonight and the only thing you can think of is going out with your friends—but all of them live far apart, so it takes too elongate for everyone to get together and have fun—you should try the GAN! The GAN is a fantastic new technology that helps mobile phones simultaneously talk to each other across many different wireless LANs (WLANs). That means that even if your friends live in different cities, they can still talk on the phone at home or shopping and have fun together! It's like having everyone in one place but having them spread out all over town simultaneously!
