What Is Facebook Wall?
Facebook walls are the place to be. It is the best place to showcase what you have been up to to the world around you. They're a public portion of your profile where you can post status updates and receive messages from friends. You can share photos, videos, and links with your friends to make your wall even more fun. You'll also find a list of the most recent activity on your wall, like comments you've left on other people's posts or photos that have been added to albums you've created, so it's easy to keep track of what's going on with your friends. A wall post is a way to share updates, make announcements and ask your friends questions. Posting a wall post is as easy as clicking "Write Something" on the left side of your news feed. You can write a post directly from there or click "Create an Event" to make an event or poll. When you post a message on your wall, it appears on your profile page and in the activity feed of everyone who has added you as a friend. If your message is public, anyone can see it on Facebook. Only people who have added you as a friend will see it on Facebook if it's private. After posting to your profile page, choose whether others may comment publicly on your post or send you private messages through Facebook. To share your location with others, you can allow them to upload photos or videos of your whereabouts to their news feeds. To do so, write your status update and click "Add Photos" to select which photo album users can contribute to (or upload directly from their phones). If you want to ensure everyone sees your updates, you can turn on notifications to receive alerts each time you post something new.
