What Is Facebook Insights Dashboard?
Facebook Insights is your secret weapon. It is the ultra tech, micro gamma, invisible machine gun 1000. We are kidding, obviously. Yet there is something in the hiding that we think you should know about. Just try and keep your volume low for this one, won't you? We're not talking about the kind of secret weapon that you hide in your pocket and pull out when you need it, then go all Chuck Norris on someone's face. We're talking about a secret weapon you can use to get information about your Facebook page's performance. Facebook Insights Dashboard metrics are accessible to page administrators and Facebook platform developers via the Facebook page or Facebook Platform application or website. To gain insights into page views, tab views, external referrers, and Facebook page or Facebook Platform application or website media consumption, a Facebook page or associated website must have at least 30 "Likes". Facebook is like a tall tower, and the Insights Dashboard is the little window at its top. It's where you can look down on your empire and see all of your achievements laid out before you. You can see how many have liked your posts and stories, how many comments they've left on said posts, and how many times people have shared them with their friends. It's also essential to track how various segments of your audience respond to different types of content. Do specific articles or blog posts receive more comments or clicks than others? Do specific topics resonate with particular groups more than others? A clear understanding of these will enable you to create targeted content and ensure that you address the concerns and desires of various people if you want to get an idea of what's happening at the top of your tower.
