What Is ECMAScript?

It's not a sci-fi movie or drama series script out to explode on the Internet. It's much different from that. ECMAScript is like JavaScript's big brother. It's a scripting language based on JavaScript, but it's more powerful and widely used than JavaScript. Brendan Eich invented it at Netscape, and it first appeared in the Navigator 2. 0 browsers. It later started appearing in succeeding browser versions of Netscape and other browsers. ECMAScript is used on the World Wide Web, especially for client-side scripting, because it allows you can create interactive web pages. Updated without reloading the page itself. ECMAScript is the JavaScript of our dreams. The script will enable us to develop and execute the browser. It's also what makes the Internet the most popular programming language today. Did you know that European computer manufacturers developed ECMAScript? That's right, the same people who brought you those individual computers back in the day. It was created to standardize how web browsers work and ensure consistency across all platforms. ECMAScript was first published as an official standard in 1997, but it's been around since 1996 when Netscape Communications Corporation released JavaScript 1. 0. JScript and ActionScript are other variations of ECMAScript that have been developed over time. The third edition of ECMAScript was released in 1999 and has continued to be updated. If you're using a browser today, use one that supports at least one version of ECMAScript! With ECMAScript, you can do anything you want with a computer. ECMAScript is a general-purpose and object-oriented programming language supported by all modern web browsers and used for everything from server programming applications to embedded ones. And it's not just for programmers! It can be used by anyone who needs a scripting language, and it has become the world's most widely used general-purpose programming language.

SHA-3, or Keccak or KECCAK, is a family of cryptographic hash functions designed by Guido Bertoni, Joan Daemen, Michaël Peeters, and Gilles Van Assche. SHA-3 competition to develop a new secure hash algorithm was held by the United States National Security Agency (NSA) in 2007. To be a super safe and fast hashing algorithm, SHA3 was developed from this contest. The evolution of cybersecurity has led to the development of several "secure hash algorithms."
