What Is Task Pane?

Are you tired of having to go through your documents to make changes? Want to manipulate the data in a copy without opening up a whole new window? If so, you'll love Office's latest feature: task panes. Task panes are dockable dialog windows that enable you to manipulate the data inside a document. They're available in Office XP and later versions and pop up on the right side of the window you're working on. Each task pane typically contains two pages, each broken into sections for easy viewing you can click any team on the page and change its properties. You can also type directly into any field, making it easier to make changes! One of the most valuable features of Microsoft Office is the task pane. This feature allows you to manipulate data inside a document by opening a dockable dialog window on the right-hand side of your window that is being worked. This feature contains one or two pages, each broken into sections for easy viewing. Have you ever been working on a document and suddenly felt like drowning in a sea of options? It's okay. In Microsoft Office 2002 (XP), Office 2003, and later versions, the task pane appear when you start typing text into an application window.
