What Is Google Health?
Google Health—the product that lets you manage your healthcare needs, issues and information in one place! We all know that one person is always getting sick. They're constantly nursing a new ailment, whether it's allergies or the common cold. And they're always asking you to contact some Sudafed, Tylenol, or whatever else they need. But now there's an easier way to do this. Google Health! Google Health is a consumer-based online product offered to individuals who want to organize, store and track their healthcare needs, issues and information. The service is provided free of charge, courtesy of Google, as part of an individualized health management account. Users enjoy the individualized health and wellness track as the primary feature of Google Health—allowing them to understand their condition better than ever before! When you sign up for Google Health today (and you should), you must enter your medical history into your account. Then whenever someone asks for something from you—whether it's Sudafed or Tylenol or whatever else they need—you'll tell them, "Sorry dude, I can't bring it back because my friend needs it. " While it was sold to empower consumers, Google Health did the opposite. It's not that the concept wasn't good: sharing medical records and tracking your health progress, refining your health and wellness searches—that's all great stuff! But the execution was all wrong. First off, it was just far too much work for most people to go through. Even if you're one of those people who are really into the whole health tracking thing, it can be hard enough to keep track of your progress and share that with others regularly, let alone have to do it for all your friends and family members as well. This means that the people who were most likely to use Google Health were already super-motivated health nuts (like me), which meant they were already living healthy lives and didn't need help from anyone else! And we all know how well it works when you tell someone who lives in a healthy way that they should start eating more vegetables—it just doesn't work for anyone but us!
