What Is Gender Changer?
Gender changers are the unsung heroes of the tech world. You don't believe us. Well, let's try explaining to you why and we are sure that you will believe us. They're the ones that make sure we can connect our devices and make them work together, no matter what we're using. But why do we need gender changers? Why not just create cables with two different end types? Well, first of all, it would be way more expensive to manufacture such wires. Even more importantly, having a cable with both male and female ends is not practical. Why? Humans are limited in our ability to carry around multiple cables at once. If you had a cable with one male and one female end, you could only ever use that cable with another cable with a matching end type: male to male or female to female. That means if you wanted to use your device while on the go at work or school, you'd need two different sets of cables (one for each location). Gender changers are the new black. They're a thing, they're everywhere, and they're here to stay. You might not know it, but you've probably already used a gender changer in your life several times. From cables to adapters to other types of hardware, there's no shortage of places where gender changers can come in handy. One of the most common types of gender changers is adapter cables that connect two types of cables. For instance, if you have a quarter-inch audiovisual cable but need an RCA cable or vice versa, you can use an adapter to make it happen. There are also gender changers for coaxial cables for Ethernet cabling or any other type of current data or audiovisual cables.
