What Is Brand Advocate?
This is the type of advocate you would love to have on your side, as he will actively promote your day in and day out, even when you sleep. Hence, you may already have deployed one such advocate. If you're reading this, you probably know what a brand advocate is. If you don't, let us tell you about it. A brand advocate talks about your product and spreads it to their friends and family. They are not paid for their efforts, but they do so because they love your product and want to ensure others know about it, too. They may go out of their way to post about your product on social media or other forums allowing them to share their thoughts with an audience larger than themselves! Why should you care about brand advocates? As they're free advertising for you! They're much more likely to buy from your company than someone who doesn't know what you do or how great your products are. If they care enough about what YOU have done for THEM (by giving them something extraordinary), they'll probably be willing to buy from YOU again! In electronic commerce, the term "brand advocate" refers to customers who speak in favor of a product by passing along word of mouth (WOM) comments and messages to other potential customers in the hope that they will join in on purchasing a specific brand. When you think of "advocacy," you might think of someone passionate about something, like an environmentalist or a sports fan. In online marketing, an advocate can help sell products to others through their recommendations. Some companies hire these individuals to help spread the word about new products and services. Not only does this technique work well for businesses, but it also helps consumers find out about new products and services from people they trust.
