Spotify and Liquid Death have unveiled the Eternal Playlist Urn, a limited-edition wireless Bluetooth speaker designed in the shape of a cremation urn. The speaker includes a Bluetooth audio module integrated into the lid, allowing users to stream music from compatible devices.

The product measures approximately 7 inches wide and 11.4 inches tall. According to the announcement, the urn is functional as a Bluetooth speaker and is available exclusively in the United States.

Only 150 units of the Eternal Playlist Urn have been produced. Each unit is priced at $495.

Alongside the hardware launch, Spotify introduced an “Eternal Playlist Generator.” The digital feature allows users to create a personalized playlist by answering prompts related to their music preferences and listening habits. Users can share the generated playlist, and owners of the urn can stream their personalized playlist through the device.

Spotify described the product as a wireless speaker designed to play users’ music collections, while Liquid Death incorporated its brand aesthetic into the urn’s design. The collaboration reflects the co-branded release between the streaming platform and the beverage company.


This marks another Spotify-branded hardware collaboration. In 2022, Spotify partnered with Ikea to release a Bluetooth speaker lamp that integrated Spotify Tap functionality, allowing users to resume playback directly from the device.

Liquid Death, founded in 2017, produces canned water and other beverages marketed with unconventional branding. The Eternal Playlist Urn continues the company’s approach of releasing limited-edition products tied to entertainment and pop culture themes.

The Eternal Playlist Urn is available for purchase in the United States while supplies last.
