The idea is to help listeners connect more deeply with the tracks they already love. By placing stories alongside songs, Spotify is turning passive listening into a more immersive experience, one that blends music with narrative and discovery.
About the Song is available on the Spotify mobile app for both iOS and Android. For now, it’s limited to Premium users in select English-speaking markets, including the U.S., U.K., Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, and Australia.
