Made By Google 2025: Pixel 10 Series, Watch 4, Buds 2a, Buds Pro 2 And Others

Around a month ago, Google revealed the design of its upcoming series of smartphones—Google Pixel 10.
However, it didn’t reveal much else about the phone, save for a launch date—August 20, 2025.
The launch would come as part of an event that would also reveal a host of other products, projects, and new innovations—check out Google’s cool services.
On August 20, Google’s Made by Google event unveiled the new series, as well as a new watch, earbuds, accessories, and more. So, what’s new with Google?
Google’s 10th generation of Pixel smartphones consists of Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, and Pixel 10 Pro XL.
While the phones will hit shelves on August 28, they are available for preorder now.
All phones are powered by Google’s Tensor G5 chip (see below), offer over 24 hours of battery life, are compatible with Pixelsnap wireless charging for fast and efficient charging, bring in camera and video enhancements with improved audio, offer HDR support with full 24-bit depth for 16 million colors fitting a 20:9 aspect ratio, sport Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 cover glass, and come with 7 years of new features and updates, and a host of other features.
They will also be the first series to feature Material 3 Expressive, Google’s latest UI (User Interface) that “brings more personalization and fluidity” with “springy animations and smooth interactions,” all with a refreshing look.
Of course, they’re also treated to Google’s powerful artificial intelligence (AI) and generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) capabilities, supported by Gemini built in. In fact, the phones offer the most advanced on-device AI. This includes Magic Cue, which integrates with apps, such as Google Messages and Phone, and offers proactive support, offering the right information at the right time.
Gemini Live allows users to enjoy natural, hands-free conversations and enjoy discussions by sharing their screen, images, files, or YouTube videos. Additionally, Live Translate can now translate what each caller says using the sound of their voice. Also, Gemini is capable of performing multiple tasks across multiple apps with a single prompt.
They come with comprehensive security services, such as AI-powered scam detection to detect suspicious calls and texts, Theft Detection that automatically locks the phone, and Satellite SOS to connect to emergency services in areas without cellular or Wi-Fi. It comes with 7 years of regular Security and OS updates.
The Pixel 10 Pro and Pixel 10 Pro cost (starting) $999 and $1,199, respectively. Storage options include 128 GB, 256 GB, 512 GB, and 1 TB, with 16 GB of RAM. Users can gain up to 70% of battery charge in about 30 minutes, while Extreme Battery Saver enables 100 hours of usage.
They offer screen sizes of 6.3 inches and 6.8 inches, respectively, with Super Actua technology for higher peak brightness (3,300-nit). They sport 1280 x 2856 LTPO OLED and 1344 x 2992 LTPO OLED resolutions, respectively. Both these phones are encased in spacecraft-grade aluminum and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2. Color options include Moonstone, Jade, Porcelain, and Obsidian.
Cameras include a pro triple rear camera—50 MP wide, 48 MP ultrawide, and 48 MP telephoto—with a 100x zoom, while the front camera is 42 MP. These phones are the only ones in the series to offer 8K video and come with Night Sight Video and Video Boost.
Pixel 10 Pro and Pixel 10 Pro XL owners will also get a full year of Google AI Pro, which is valued at $239. Furthermore, Google also offers a wide range of special offers, discounts, and payment plans.
The Pixel 10, which is the most basic model, costs $799 and sports a 6.3-inch Actua-powered screen. This is backed by a 20:9 aspect ratio across 1080 x 2424 OLED resolution. Its storage options include 128 GB and 256 GB, with 12 GB of RAM, and users can get up to 55% of battery charge in about 30 minutes. Users are treated to colors such as Indigo, Frost, Lemongrass, and Obsidian.

Google's Pixel 10 Series also features a foldable smartphone—Pixel 10 Pro Fold.
The Pixel 10 Pro Fold is priced at (starting) $1,799. Sizes span 256 GB, 512 GB, and 1 TB, pushed by 16 GB of RAM. Users can avail up to 50% of battery charge in about 30 minutes. The Fold’s outer screen (or when closed) is 6.4 inches with Actua technology, while the large inner screen is 8 inches (Google’s largest yet), backed by Super Actua Flex. Colors include Moonstone and Jade.
The camera setup consists of an advanced triple rear camera—48 MP wide, 10.5 MP ultrawide, and 10.8 MP telephoto—supported by 20x zoom. Its front and inner cameras span 10 MP capabilities. This too offers 4K video but comes with Night Sight Video and Video Boost.
When opened, users can access two apps at once with a smoother split-screen view. Its tabletop mode allows users to stream content, hands-free, as well as capture photos tripod-free.
Google claims the device can handle 10+ years of folding—held together by a new gearless, high-strength hinge makes it comfortable to hold—and that the Fold is “so thin, you almost forget it’s a foldable.” It also marks the company’s first foldable with IP68 dust and water resistance.
Google’s fifth-generation Google Tensor chip is what powers the Pixel 10 series. This next-gen chip marks the company’s biggest upgrade yet—one custom-built to deliver the ultimate AI experience on a phone. It’s also the first chip to run the newest Gemini Nano model, which brings several fully on-device GenAI experiences at launch.
It comes with a TPU (Tensor Processing Unit) that’s up to 60% more powerful and a CPU that’s up to 25% faster. It’s designed in the leading 3 nm process node from TSMC, which is 34% faster on average CPU. Furthermore, new security hardware ensures better protection throughout its lifecycle.
Tensor G5 is also the powerhouse behind the Pixel 10 Series camera system—which is Google’s best camera yet—along with enabling unique AI features such as Magic Cue, Voice Translate, Call Notes with actions, and Personal Journal. It’s also instrumental in delivering Pixel’s highest-quality photos and videos with an upgraded ISP (Image Signal Processor), and battery life enhancements.
Google’s Pixel 10 series comes with Pixelsnap for built-in Qi2 wireless charging, which is a universal wireless charging standard that improves on the original Qi standard by incorporating magnets, keeping phones perfectly aligned and held in place. These phones are also the first major Android phones to fully embrace Qi2 built in.
They can also access a wide range of new magnetic accessories, which are made using the most recycled materials yet for a Pixel.
For example, the wireless Pixelsnap Charger—which comes alone or with a stand—charges the Pixel 10 Pro XL at up to 25W, and the Pixel 10, 10 Pro and 10 Pro Fold (and other Qi2-certified devices) at up to 15W. Users can leverage the new Pixelsnap Ring Stand to hold up their phones for hands-free viewing.
Ahead of this, Google displayed a series of Pixel 10 cases, Pixel 10 Pro Fold cases—all of which match the colors of the phones themselves—and the Pixel Flex Dual Port 67W USB-C Fast Charger.
Google's Pixel Watch 4 brings the device’s biggest update. This includes a 25% longer battery life, which runs for 30 hours on the 41mm and 40 hours on the 45mm (in battery saver mode this is 2 days and 3 days, respectively). It’s also water-resistant up to 50 meters.
It spans a complete redesign and sports many industry firsts, such as being the first-of-its-kind domed Actua 360 display that comes with 16% smaller bezels and 50% brighter 3000 nit display. The watch sports the new Snapdragon W5 Gen 2 Wearable Platform, and Google’s “next-gen ML-powered co-processor that’s 25% faster at half the power.”
It’s also the first smartwatch ever to support standalone satellite communication, the only smartwatch to detect a loss of pulse, and offers Gemini with just a raise of the wrist for on-the-go assistance. It comes with a new custom haptic engine that’s 15% stronger, an upgraded custom speaker, and the updated Material 3 Expressive UI for more personalized experiences.
As for health and fitness capabilities, the watch enables smarter sleep tracking, enhanced skin temperature sensing, accurate route tracking, real-time bike stats, personalized automatic tracking, and new exercise modes, offering 50+ options.
It can act as a user’s personal AI health coach with seamless, intelligent connectivity, thanks to a variety of enhancements powered by Gemini (read all about Google’s new services).
The Pixel Watch 4 is available for preorder now and will hit shelves starting October 9. It’s priced the same as its predecessor—the 41mm watch starts at $349 for Wi-Fi and $449 for LTE, and the 45mm starts at $399 for Wi-Fi and $499 for LTE.
Google revealed two new earbuds, the Pixel Buds 2a and the Pixel Buds Pro 2.
Pixel Buds 2a is Google’s latest edition of A-series buds that come with a comfortable, lightweight design and Active Noise Cancellation—the first to offer it in the A-series. It’s powered by Tensor A1 and enhanced with Google AI capabilities, including task assistance.
As far as features go, they are smaller and lighter than Pixel Buds A-series, have a high sweat and water resistance rating (IP54), come in two colors (Iris and Hazel), allows users to quickly switch between devices, connect multiple devices, and lets users find their precise location (and other devices) on a map—or they can ring them when nearby to find them faster.
Pixel Buds 2a can be preordered for $129, before they reach shelves at the Google Store and retail partners on October 9.
As for the Pixel Buds Pro 2—which was launched last year—it comes with Tensor A1 and Gemini built in.
To complement the Pixel 10 Series, Google has now added a new color—Moonstone—and promises software updates with new and improved features next month. These features include Adaptive Audio to adjust to surroundings, Loud Noise Protection to safeguard from sudden loud noises, and Gemini Live enhancements for even noisier environments.
Users can preorder the new Moonstone color for $229, which is expected to be available at the Google Store and retail partners on August 28.
