Ferrari says LoveFrom was involved in shaping the project “from the outset,” to help define the design direction for both the interior and exterior of the car. Earlier this year, the company had already shown off the Luce’s interiors, offering an early look at its approach to luxury and technology. With the complete reveal now out, Ferrari is positioning the Luce as a premium electric vehicle that still carries the brand’s design identity.


The Luce also introduces a few firsts for Ferrari. It will become the company’s second four-door model and its first-ever five-seat vehicle, adding more practicality and cabin space compared to Ferrari’s traditional sports car lineup.

According to firsthand impressions shared by Tim Stevens for Engadget, the Luce feels more like an SUV than a traditional Ferrari sports car. While he was unable to test fully functioning interior controls or drive the vehicle, he noted that the Luce comes equipped with four electric motors delivering 1,035 horsepower.
 
Another notable detail is Ferrari’s approach to sound. Instead of using fully synthesized engine audio like many electric vehicles, the Luce reportedly captures and amplifies real vibrations from the rear motors to create a more natural sound experience.

The Luce is expected to start at €550,000 in Italy. Ferrari has not yet confirmed pricing for the US market, but the vehicle is already set to become the company’s most expensive car to date. With the Luce, Ferrari is not just launching its first EV but also reimagining what a modern Ferrari can look and feel like in the electric era.
