As the GenAI frenzy continues to charm various industries, American computer software company Adobe puts out over a hundred job postings, as it looks to enhance its products and services while boosting its capabilities to serve customers and clients.

Through a post published on LinkedIn, Nanda Kambhatla, the Senior Director of the Adobe Research Lab in India revealed that the company is looking for capable researchers who specialize in GenAI.

The post read as “Adobe Research is seeking exceptional researchers specializing in Generative AI, large language models, NLP, NLG, Computer Vision, and other domains for our team in India. Join us in shaping the future of GenAI!”

Currently, Adobe India employs over 8,000 people, having grown from a team of 7 in a single room when it started in 1997.

As for skills, the company is looking for candidates with strong analytical, mathematical modeling and software skills; excellent interpersonal and communication skills; problem-solving, bold and proactive workers who can take initiative, make decisions and more.

Selected candidates will be responsible for inventing, designing, developing and prototyping AI discoveries.

They will be required to transform these discoveries into technologies to be used in Adobe’s products.

Adobe’s latest hiring wave comes as the company is positioning itself as a key player not just in India but the world over across a wide range of industries, from automotive to retail and financial services.

In a recent interview with AIM, Prativa Mohapatra, VP and MD of Adobe India, said, “India is one of the fastest growing markets for Adobe right now. The growth rate of the enterprise business, which is enabling businesses to be digital, is utterly massive.”
