BOSTON, Feb. 4, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Public Consulting Group (PCG) is pleased to share that Senior Managing Education Advisor Jacob Klett has been selected to participate in "Catalyzing and Navigating Change in Schools," a one of the roundtable sessions being held as an extension of SXSW's popular Mentor Session.

"Building a diverse, inclusive, and engaged community is at the heart of our culture," said Tobi Russell, PCG's Chief People Officer. "We actively encourage our emerging leaders to seize opportunities to develop and grow as mentors, and Jacob's selection to participate in this SXSW roundtable is an example of this goal in action."

PCG has been a fixture at SXSW EDU for several years, having been featured on several panels. Jacob is the first PCG employee to serve as a SXSW mentor.

"I've attended SXSW EDU in the past and was familiar with the mentor program," said Klett. "When I saw the call for applicants last fall, I knew it was a great opportunity to contribute to this one-of-a-kind event. It's an honor to represent PCG and support early-career professionals while showcasing the impactful work our firm is doing in education."

As part of its firmwide, strategic efforts to foster and sustain an engaged, diverse workforce, PCG has placed deliberate focus on ensuring it provides a work environment that nurtures and creates visibility for young workers and emerging leaders. Just last month, PCG was selected as one of the winners of RippleMatch's 2025 Campus Forward Awards, which recognize the top early career teams and programs in the U.S.

Klett added, "I value PCG's support of my development and visibility as a leader and the opportunity to engage with other leaders and professionals during the session around reimagining educational systems while centering the needs of students and teachers. My goal is to provide participants with actionable insights from my 15+ years of experience leading state- and district-level change initiatives."
