  • Galaxy Buds4 and Buds4 Pro launched at Galaxy Unpacked 2026 in San Francisco
  • Design based on over 100 million ear-shape data points and 10,000 simulations
  • Buds4 Pro adds wider woofer, enhanced ANC and 24-bit 96kHz audio
  • Head Gestures and AI agent support enable hands-free control

Galaxy Buds4 Series Delivers Data-Driven Design And Seamless Galaxy AI Connectivity

Samsung positioned the Galaxy Buds4 series as a natural extension of the Galaxy S26 ecosystem, aiming to create fluid interactions between hardware and AI.

When paired with a Galaxy smartphone, opening the charging case instantly triggers a connection pop-up, allowing users to connect without launching the Galaxy Wearable app.

The new blade-inspired design was developed using more than 100 million global ear-shape data points and over 10,000 fit simulations. Samsung refined the earbuds to deliver a slimmer profile and improved stability, with a recessed pinch control area placed where fingers naturally rest.

A semi-transparent charging case allows users to quickly check the earbuds and charging status.

Galaxy Buds4 adopts an open-fit architecture for everyday comfort, while Galaxy Buds4 Pro features a canal-fit design engineered for immersive listening. Both models are available in White and Black, while Buds4 Pro also comes in an online-exclusive Pink Gold finish.

Integration with AI agents including Bixby, Gemini and Perplexity enables users to launch tasks via voice commands.

A newly introduced Head Gestures feature allows users to answer calls with a nod, supporting hands-free interactions during workouts or while carrying items.

Galaxy Buds4 Pro Introduces Wider Woofer, Enhanced ANC And 24-Bit Hi-Fi Audio

The Galaxy Buds4 Pro brings notable hardware upgrades focused on sound fidelity.

For the first time, Samsung introduced a wider woofer that expands the effective vibrating surface area by nearly 20 percent compared to the previous generation. This delivers deeper bass while preserving clean highs through a dedicated tweeter system.

The earbuds support 24-bit 96kHz ultra-high-resolution audio on compatible Galaxy devices. Enhanced Active Noise Cancellation adapts in real time by analyzing individual ear shape and wearing conditions, reducing background noise while maintaining tonal balance.

Super Clear Call leverages machine learning and 16kHz super wideband support to improve voice clarity in noisy environments. With ANC enabled, Buds4 Pro offers up to 6 hours of playback and up to 26 hours total with the charging case. With ANC off, playback extends to 7 hours and up to 30 hours overall.

Galaxy Buds4 Enhances Everyday Listening With Adaptive EQ And Intelligent Controls

The standard Galaxy Buds4 balances performance and accessibility. It supports UHQ 24-bit Hi-Fi audio, Adaptive EQ, ANC and Ambient Sound.

With ANC enabled, users can expect up to 5 hours of playback and up to 24 hours total with the case. Disabling ANC extends playback to 6 hours and up to 30 hours in total.

Both models feature Bluetooth 6.1 connectivity and support Samsung Seamless Codec HiFi and UHQ, AAC, SBC and LC3 codecs. Compatibility requires Android 12 or higher with at least 1.5GB of memory.

As Samsung continues expanding its Galaxy AI strategy, the Buds4 series reinforces the company’s push toward proactive, context-aware experiences across devices.

Samsung also highlighted additional developments including the Galaxy S26 Series, the new Privacy Display technology, the expanded Galaxy AI Experience, and Gemini’s new agentic task automation capabilities.
