MILAN--( BUSINESS WIRE )--RGI, the leading software provider for transformation in the European insurance industry, today launched RGI Product Designer, a new solution for configuring insurance products.
The new configurator leverages the cloud and creates a new 'cloud-native' configuration environment, creating an always-available SaaS (Software-as-a-Service) for configuring products. The customer does not need to create anything.
With the RGI Product Designer, the company aims to provide new and existing customers who already use the PASS_Products system with a state-of-the-art solution in terms of technology and user experience that will help insurance products come to market more quickly and optimize operational efficiency . In this way, insurers improve their competitiveness and fulfill customers' wishes faster and more effectively.
The new solution was presented to customers in a webinar last November at RGI's annual general meeting. It serves as a configurator and rating engine to manage the product catalog and tariffs of all business lines of an insurance company.
In detail, the new solution can also be used to create and manage bundled insurance offers for multiple business lines, as well as flexible multi-risk products. This allows insurers to quickly and efficiently create personalized policies based on a customer's individual needs.
The new configurator offers expanded functions for product and tariff components via a zero code method , i.e. without IT development. Thanks to the modern and intuitive user interface, tariffs and sales models can be easily configured, even as complexity increases, and product and tariff components can be recreated at the same time.
