Google Brings AI-Powered JEE Mock Tests To Indian Students Through Gemini
Updated on Wed, Jan 28, 2026
Well, Google is now stepping in to make exam prep smarter, more structured, and personalized with its AI tools.
TL;DR
- Google’s Gemini now offers full-length JEE mock tests for Indian students, with instant feedback and personalized study plans.
- AI Mode in Search in India adds tools like Canvas for interactive study guides and quizzes from class notes.
- Google also partners with Indian educators, universities, and government programs to expand AI in learning and administration.
Google is expanding its AI offerings by adding full-length mock tests for the Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) to its Gemini chatbot. Taken by millions every year, the JEE is the gateway to India’s top technical institutes, and preparation can be intense.
Google says this step is meant to position Gemini as a structured exam-prep tool rather than a shortcut to answers.
Through Gemini, students can now attempt full-length practice tests created with vetted content from Indian education platforms PhysicsWallah and Careers360. Once a test is completed, the chatbot provides instant feedback, highlighting strengths, identifying areas needing improvement, explaining answers, and even helping create a personalized study plan.
The JEE tools are also coming to Google’s AI Mode in Search, including the Canvas tool, which allows students to build study guides and interactive quizzes using their class notes.
Beyond exam prep, Google says Indian students are using its AI tools to study advanced physics, broader STEM topics, and even convert study materials into quizzes, flashcards, and audio or video summaries. The tools are available in multiple Indian languages, making them more accessible.
Google is also focusing on educators. The company is collaborating with government agencies to help teachers and support staff use AI for administrative work and lesson design.
Additionally, Google.org is backing Wadhwani AI with an ₹850 million grant to integrate AI into government-run education platforms, including online learning portals and state education systems.
Topics For More Insights:
This initiative spans pre-school through higher education which offers tools such as voice-based reading support and AI-powered English learning coaches. Google claims its programs have already reached around 10 million learners and educators, with plans to scale up to 75 million students and over 1.8 million educators by the end of 2027.
With Gemini and other AI tools, Google is showing how tech can make learning more practical and effective globally.
