Ultraloq Bolt Sense Debuts Face and Palm Unlock at CES
Xthings is making a strong CES showcase with new smart home devices, and the Ultraloq Bolt Sense easily steals the spotlight. The compact smart lock offers touch-free entry using both facial recognition and palm vein authentication without any app needed.
According to the company, palm scanning is more dependable than fingerprints and works even in complete darkness. Xthings is also previewing new Matter-ready locks and security cameras, including a Wi-Fi HaLow camera designed for long-range coverage, making it a practical option for larger homes and properties.
Mammotion Adds Lidar Mapping To Luba 3 AWD Robot Mower
Mammotion is rolling into CES 2026 with a major upgrade to its flagship robot mower. The new Luba 3 AWD adds lidar-based navigation that builds a live 3D map of your yard as it works. Using the company’s Tri-Fusion system, it blends lidar, AI-powered cameras, and geopositioning for accurate, wire-free mowing.
The mower can spot pets, toys, and obstacles, tackle steep slopes, and manage large lawns with ease. Mammotion is also bringing the upgraded AI technology to its Luba Mini 2 AWD and Yuka Mini 2 models.

Mui Board Adds mmWave Sleep Tracking And Gesture Control
Mui Lab is giving its minimalist Mui Board a calm, bedroom-friendly upgrade. The new Mui Calm Sleep Platform uses millimeter-wave sensors to track sleep without wearables, relying on radar to sense breathing and posture instead. Rather than flooding users with stats, it subtly adjusts lighting and guides pre-sleep routines to encourage better rest.
Mui is also adding mmWave-based gesture control, letting users manage the board from across the room, like waving away an alarm. Sleep tracking and gesture features are expected to roll out later this year.
Lockin V7 Max Smart Lock Adds Wireless Charging And Vein Scanning
Lockin is aiming to eliminate battery worries with its new V7 Max smart lock. The lock uses wireless optical charging from an indoor transmitter, keeping it powered without manual battery changes.
