One of the most anticipated events in the world of technology is Apple's.

Consumers and tech enthusiasts are always excited to get a look at the company’s latest innovations, which typically include a wide range of new products that exude smart and sleek designs.

On September 9, 2025, Apple hosted one such event—one that unveiled its new line of smartphones, the iPhone 17 series, a new ultra-slim smartphone, a host of new smartwatches, and upgraded AirPods.

Spoiler alert: all new phones come with Liquid Glass, sport Apple’s renowned Action Button, and its Camera Control capabilities.

The company also spoke about a bunch of new software updates and application upgrades.

So, without further ado, let’s dive in and explore what new products Apple introduced.

iPhone 17, 17 Pro, And 17 Pro Max

Apple’s new iPhone 17 series spans three options—iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone 17 Pro Max.

Apple describes the iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max as the most powerful and advanced Pro models ever. Powered by Apple’s A19 Pro—the company’s most powerful and efficient chip—the phones boast the best-ever performance, camera systems, unbelievable battery life, next-level mobile gaming, and the coup de grâce, Apple Intelligence.

The phones feature three 48MP Fusion cameras—main, ultra wide, and an all-new Telephoto—that offer the equivalent of eight lenses, while the longest optical-quality zoom ever on iPhone at 8x. Its innovative 18MP Center Stage front camera allows users to take selfies to the next level, bringing in flexibility in taking shots, smarter group selfies, and more.

The phones come with a new heat-forged brushed aluminum unibody design that’s built using aerospace-grade 7000-series aluminum alloy, bringing in improved thermal performance. To further reduce heating, Apple’s new vapor chamber helps enhance heat dissipation and performance.

The vapor chamber consists of sealed deionized water that is laser-welded into the phone's chassis, helping cool the powerful A19 Pro chip, which delivers up to 40% better sustained performance. Further protection comes in the form of a ceramic shield that protects the back, offering 4x more resistance to cracks.

Its unibody design also allowed Apple to install a bigger battery, which is capable of charging 50% in just 20 minutes.

These two phones come in three colors—deep blue, cosmic orange, and silver. Screen size includes 6.3‑inch and 6.9‑inch Super Retina XDR displays with ProMotion up to 120Hz.

iPhone 17 Pro offers storage of 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB, and will cost $1,099 (starting) or $45.79 per month, while iPhone 17 Pro Max’s storage options include 256GB, 512GB, 1TB, and, for the first time, 2TB storage, starting at $1,199 or $49.95 per month. Apple even offers various trade options.

Both will be available for pre-order on Friday, September 12, and become available from Friday, September 19—across more than 63 countries and regions, including Australia, Canada, China, France, Germany, India, Japan, the UAE, the UK, the U.S., and more. For 22 other countries and regions, the phones will be available beginning Friday, September 26.

Ahead of this, Apple also confirmed that iOS 26 will be available as a free software update on Monday, September 15.

“The all-new iPhone Air is so powerful, yet impossibly thin and light, that you really have to hold it to believe it’s real. This huge leap in design and engineering is only made possible through Apple innovation, especially Apple silicon,” said John Ternus, Apple’s SVP of Hardware Engineering.

Color options include space black, cloud white, light gold, and sky blue; storage spans 512GB and 1TB; and pricing starts at $$999 or $41.62 per month. It will follow the delivery theme: pre-orders beginning September 12, and availability from September 19.
