Powerbanc Group And Amionx To Implement Safecore Technology In Power Banks

SAN DIEGO and ROAD TOWN, British Virgin Islands, Sept. 24, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Amionx, Inc. a leader in safe battery technology, and Powerbanc Group (BVI), an expert in premium energy storage solutions, announced today that they have entered into a global, royalty-bearing license agreement to integrate Amionx's patented safety layer called SafeCore into consumer and industrial applications.
The first focus will be on the development of power banks, setting a new safety standard in portable energy. SafeCore works in the core of a battery cell and dramatically reduces the chance of fire or explosion. It addresses the major causes of battery fires including internal short or overcharge. When activated, SafeCore either cuts the flow of electricity entirely or increases impedance in the battery cell. BVI will integrate the battery cell containing SafeCore into the battery pack and battery management system (BMS), providing advanced protection against catastrophic thermal runaway.
