SAN FRANCISCO, May 19, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Chainlink, the backbone of blockchain, announced today that Chainlink's Cross-Chain Interopability Protocol (CCIP) is officially live on Solana Mainnet—the first non-EVM chain to feature CCIP's v1.6 upgrade. CCIP is the standard for cross-chain interoperability, supporting 57+ blockchains and enabling the secure transfer of value and data across the EVM and SVM ecosystems.

This integration enables projects, including Solv, Backed Finance, Shiba Inu, and more, to expand their existing CCIP-enabled tokens into the Solana ecosystem, leveraging the Cross-Chain Token (CCT) Standard.
