SUNNYVALE, CA, UNITED STATES, August 6, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Eridan today announced the appointment of robotics industry expert Dr. Iman Adibnazari as Chief Architect, Robotics and Physical AI. In this strategic new role, Dr. Adibnazari will drive Eridan’s entrance into the robotics sector, positioning the company’s wireless innovations as the foundational communication layer for next-generation autonomous systems.

As autonomous systems and physical AI demand unprecedented data speeds, Eridan’s all-digital wireless technology provides a vital solution. By delivering ultra-low latency, extremely high data throughput, and a significantly reduced power and size footprint, Eridan’s technology breaks through the traditional communication barriers that currently limit the proliferation and mobility of advanced robotic systems.

Dr. Adibnazari brings more than a decade of experience developing advanced robotic technologies across the full engineering stack, from electromechanical hardware and embedded systems to autonomy, control systems, and artificial intelligence. He earned a Ph.D. in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering and an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of California San Diego. In addition to engineering robotic systems for medical, industrial, wearable, and autonomous vehicle applications, he has contributed to robotics policy and market initiatives, including the 2024 United States Robotics Roadmap. His work has appeared in leading international journals and conferences and has been recognized with the Henry Booker Award for Exemplary Ethical Engineering.

“Artificial intelligence is rapidly moving into machines that operate in the real world, creating new demands on wireless communications,” said Omid Tahernia, CEO of Eridan. “Iman brings an exceptional combination of robotics expertise and systems engineering that will help us apply Eridan’s technology to the next generation of autonomous systems.”

“Wireless communication remains a fundamental barrier to the true proliferation of autonomous robotic systems,” said Dr. Adibnazari. “Eridan’s ability to deliver high data throughput and ultra-low latency within a highly efficient power and size footprint is a game-changer for the industry. I am excited to work with this talented team to bridge the gap between advanced wireless technology and the next generation of physical AI.”
