Selected Areas in Cryptography (SAC) 2026
About Event
Selected Areas in Cryptography (SAC) is Canada's research conference on cryptography, held annually since 1994. The 33rd edition takes place at the University of Ottawa from August 26-28, 2026, preceded by the SAC Summer School on August 24-25, 2026, and co-located with the 23rd Annual International Conference on Privacy, Security, and Trust (PST 2026).
The conference covers design and analysis of symmetric key primitives, efficient implementations of symmetric and public key algorithms, and mathematical and algorithmic aspects of applied cryptology, with a special selected topic this year on lattice-based and code-based cryptography. SAC 2026 also welcomes papers on post-quantum cryptography across all its focus areas.
