The India AI Impact Summit 2026 is a landmark global convening on artificial intelligence, bringing together policymakers, industry leaders, researchers, civil society, and international organisations to shape the future of responsible AI. Hosted under the auspices of the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), the Summit will take place on 16–20 February 2026 in New Delhi, India.
Research Symposium: AI and Its Impact:
The Research Symposium has received an overwhelming response from the global research community, with 250+ submissions from India and abroad, reflecting strong international interest. Designed to connect frontier research with practice and policy, the symposium brings together researchers, practitioners, and policymakers from India, the Global South, and across the world.
The symposium will showcase 60 curated research posters, including:
- 30 posters under the Global South Poster Track
- 15 posters as part of the India Forum Showcase
- 15 posters under the Students Showcase
Key discussion areas span:
- Human capital development and inclusion
- Safe, trusted, and ethical AI systems
- Innovation, resilience, and scientific advancement
- AI for economic growth and social good
A dedicated Global South Research and Posters Showcase will spotlight emerging talent and collaborative research addressing challenges often under-represented in global AI discourse, fostering mentorship and cross-border collaboration.

Structured around the guiding principles of People, Planet, and Progress, the India AI Impact Summit 2026 focuses on enabling AI that delivers inclusive, sustainable, and measurable impact. The Summit’s agenda covers themes such as democratising AI resources, building resilient and trusted AI ecosystems, advancing innovation, and ensuring AI contributes meaningfully to economic development and societal well-being.
