From the iconic classic "Her" to the futuristic rom-com "Wall-E," movies featuring AI have taken us on thrilling adventures and made us question the very essence of humanity. Artificial Intelligence, AKA AI, is no longer just a thing of science fiction movies. They're becoming a reality and people are pouring loads of money into making them smarter and more independent. It's like they're learning and growing alone, without us humans even lifting a finger! #SuperIntelligenceOfArtificialIntelligence

recent report by PwC has highlighted how AI is the first choice of some of the biggest tech giants. To begin with, Japan-based SoftBank Group has a particular Softbank Vision Fund dedicated to technical advancements like AI. It's in charge, Masayoshi Son, who is also the wealthiest man in the nation, spends 97% of his time "time and intellect" on AI research.

Another example of AI investment is Intel – the tech giant spent over $72 million on AI and IoT alone in 2017 and over $115 million was invested in technology overall in 2018.

Now, you might be wondering how businesses can get in on this AI action.

  • Well, as per the report, there are a couple of routes you can take. Some businesses prefer to invest directly in companies that are busy developing AI.
  • Others, though, have a different strategy. They're betting on companies that will benefit the most from the widespread adoption of AI. It's like when personal computers first hit the scene.
  • Savvy investors are also putting their money into computer manufacturers, hardware companies and software companies. They see the big picture and understand that automation is the way of the future. #ThinkingInvestmentThinkAI

With that, it becomes essential to understand why businesses are investing in AI!

  • Bank of America report states, "Investors who believe that AI will spark an economy-wide productivity boom should consider owning AI ETFs." The report continues, "AI thematic ETFs are more diversified than vanilla tech and semiconductor funds while providing investors with good liquidity."
  • Besides, according to Statista, global corporate investment in AI hit a whopping $92 billion in 2022. Most of that investment comes from private sources, showing just how crucial AI development is worldwide. The report further states, "The global AI market, valued at 142.3 billion U.S. dollars as of 2023, continues to grow driven by the influx of investments it receives."

In a nutshell, AI is not just about robots anymore; it's about a new world of possibilities!

So, if you're looking for the next big thing to invest in, AI might be your golden ticket to #EverythingEverywhereAllAtOnce.
