Overall Rating
Messaging apps have become a timeline of our everyday lives. From quick “reached home?” texts to late-night conversations, they carry bits of both our personal and work worlds. Yet, as conversations continue, switching between them can get a little messy, and even finding the right words feels hard.

TL;DR

  • WhatsApp brings dual accounts to iOS which was previously limited to Android.
  • WhatsApp also introduces AI-powered Writing Help that offer smart message suggestions in different tones.
  • WhatsApp says Private Processing ensures messages and AI suggestions remain completely private.

With this in mind, WhatsApp is rolling out new features to make messaging more organized and easier to manage. One of the most useful updates is that you can now use two accounts on a single iPhone.

Until now, the dual account was limited to Android. With this change, both accounts can run simultaneously on one iPhone, and users can easily switch between them. A small but thoughtful detail is that your profile picture appearing in the bottom tab can help ensure you always know which account you are using.

At the same time, WhatsApp is introducing Writing Help, an AI-powered feature that assists users in drafting messages. Whether it’s a quick reply or something that needs the right tone, the tool can suggest responses based on the conversation. Users can choose from styles like professional, funny, or supportive, and still edit the message before sending it, keeping the final say in their hands.

Privacy, a key concern with AI features, is being addressed through what WhatsApp calls Private Processing technology. According to the company, this ensures that neither WhatsApp nor Meta can read the messages or the AI-generated suggestions. The feature is optional and turned off by default, allowing users to decide if and when they want to use it.

Writing Help is currently rolling out in English, starting with the United States and select regions, with plans to expand further.

All in all, these updates show how messaging is becoming not just quicker, but also more thoughtful and better suited to how we actually talk every day.
