The excitement and growth of generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) in the field of artificial intelligence (AI) has lit up the content creation and marketing industry.

Beginning with the generation of entire articles and social media captions in real-time using a simple text prompt to creating realistic and eye-catching images and videos of people, animals, nature, space and just about anything, GenAI allows users to save time, money, effort and resources.

However, one issue surrounds professionals using AI systems to generate images for marketing purposes – commercially safe, cost-efficient, responsible and quality images generated using AI.

This is what Picsart, the largest all-in-one creative platform of photo, video editing and design tools, is looking to solve with its latest partnership with Getty Images, a company that offers stock images, photos, video and music for businesses and consumers.

So, what does this partnership consist of and how will it help marketers and creators? Let’s explore!

What Is Picsart’s And Getty Images’ Partnership About?

  • As per a blog post published on its website, Picsart announced that it has partnered up with Getty Images to launch a model that can generate responsible, commercially safe AI imagery.

  • The idea is to empower the millions of creators, marketers and small businesses that use Picsart’s platform for images by simplifying the journey from idea to visual output and making the process of creating images and marketing easier for them.

  • The partnership allows Picsart subscribers to generate unique images with commercial rights and an indemnity and then enhance them using over 3,000 editing tools available on the platform.

  • By using such high-quality tools, marketers can generate and edit images “perfect for social media ads, website graphics and more.”

  • The generative AI model, which will be built from scratch, will be custom-made by Picsart’s AI lab and be trained exclusively on Getty Images’ licensed creative content.

  • The model is expected to be launched later this year and will be accessible through Picsart’s API services.

  • Furthermore, the two companies also recently announced a Getty Images’ video integration, that would provide high-quality motion options for Plus members.
