What Did IBM And Tech Mahindra Announce?

 

• As per a news release published on its website, IBM announced that it was collaborating with Tech Mahindra, a leading global provider of technology consulting and digital solutions to enterprises across industries, to help accelerate the adoption of GenAI for businesses worldwide.

• The new collaboration builds on a global partnership that spans more than two decades, with Tech Mahindra being IBM’s Platinum Business Partner.

• This partnership includes Tech Mahindra possessing dedicated centers of excellence across IBM products and co-invested labs, as well as strategic initiatives on IBM Cloud, Watson IoT, Security and Blockchain.

• The new collaboration will see Tech Mahindra’s AI solutions integrate with the IBM watsonx AI and data platform and offer AI Assistants, bringing new GenAI and governance capabilities to enterprises.

• This will allow customers to combine the two powerful platforms to access various new GenAI services, frameworks and solutions architectures, to gain access to AI applications “where businesses can access their trusted data and automate processes.”

• Ahead of this, Tech Mahindra brings a virtual watsonx Centre of Excellence (CoE) to help customers enhance business capabilities in AI, which “serves as a co-innovation center, with a specialized team dedicated to optimizing the synergies between both organizations and developing unique offerings and solutions based on their strengths.”

• The collaborative platform will enable users to build, scale and accelerate machine learning models and generative AI models and their impact, helping them “responsibly bring efficiency and productivity.”

• As per the release, “This move works in line with Tech Mahindra’s continuous endeavor to transform enterprises with advanced AI-led offerings and solutions.”
