Cloud Software Group Partner With Microsoft To Offer Joint Cloud Solutions And GenAI To Over 100 Million People!

This is an important move as businesses look to implement any technology that can enhance productivity and scale processes, enabling them to work smarter, quicker and better, which is why they turn to cloud solutions.
To further boost productivity, scalability and innovation across the two technologies, Microsoft and Cloud Software Group have come up with an announcement that’s set to largely benefit their customers.

What Did Microsoft And Cloud Software Group Announce?

In a news release published on Microsoft’s website, the company along with Cloud Software Group, which provides modern enterprises with mission-critical software, announced that the two companies had entered an eight-year strategic partnership.

Cloud Software Group offers over 100 million global users software solutions such as TIBCO, Citrix, NetScaler, Spotfire and other platforms to help them evolve, compete and succeed across private, public, managed and sovereign cloud environments.

The agreement will see Cloud Software Group pour in $1.65 billion into Microsoft cloud and its GenAI capabilities.

As per the release, “The agreement will strengthen the go-to-market collaboration for the Citrix virtual application and desktop platform and support the development of new cloud and AI solutions with an integrated product roadmap.”

As the two deepen their collaboration, enhancing one of the industry’s most durable alliances between Citrix and Microsoft, Citrix will be the preferred Microsoft Azure Partner solution for Enterprise Desktop as a Service (DaaS) when collaborating with joint Azure customers.

This will see Microsoft become Citrix’s preferred cloud solution, providing its customers with the capabilities of Citrix platform blended with Azure Virtual Desktop and Windows 365, along with enhanced procurement options through Azure Marketplace.

Furthermore, the two companies will partner to support customer success, offer customized solutions, expert guidance and boost cloud journeys.

The agreement also allows the growth of productivity and innovation with Microsoft’s capable AI tools, with Cloud Software Group deploying GitHub Copilot to all their engineers.

Cloud Software Group’s Spotfire also recently announced a Spotfire Copilot extension, which is embedded directly into the platform.

In a bid to further boost collaboration and productivity, Cloud Software Group will transition all its employees to Microsoft 365.

Together, we will enhance the customer experience with integrated solutions and go-to-market support for its Citrix business unit.”
