Accor And Amadeus Announce A New Partnership To Enhance Hospitality Services

To boost their capabilities, hospitality service providers implement new technology to provide their patrons with the best possible service and experiences.
As such, Accor S.A., a world-leading hospitality group, announced a new collaboration with Amadeus IT Group, S.A., a multinational technology company specializing in software solutions for the global travel and tourism industry.

What Did Accor And Amadeus Announce?

Through press releases published on their websites, Accor and Amadeus announced a new partnership that would see Accor deliver customized experiences across its vast portfolio of hospitality properties.

This will be done by Accor implementing the Amadeus Central Reservation System (ACRS) across all its properties globally.

As per the release, “Amadeus’ cloud-based technology will help Accor, a world-leading hospitality group, in boosting revenues, maximizing distribution strategies, and building deeper and more personalized connections with guests.”

The move will allow Accor to use cutting-edge technology and new capabilities, including cloud, connectivity and enhanced user experiences to drive more businesses, improve operational efficiency, foster better agility and offer better service quality, all while maintaining cost-effectiveness.

Furthermore, the use of the ACRS platform will bring in new capabilities such as enhanced flexibility, seamless integration with emerging technologies and simplified daily operations, which will allow them to cater to the evolving needs of guests.

The aim is to transform the hospitality landscape, transcend traditional boundaries and provide personalized offers to “elevate the sales process to a holistic guest experience” and boost guest satisfaction and loyalty.

Accor is a French multinational hospitality company that owns, manages and franchises hotels, resorts and vacation properties.

The company owns over 45 hotel brands, from luxury hotels to economy accommodations, including names such as Raffles, Fairmont, Sofitel, MGallery, Pullman, Swissôtel, Novotel, Mercure, Adagio, ibis, hotelF1 and more.

Its properties are spread across more than 110 countries and consist of 5,600 properties, 10,000 food & beverage venues, wellness facilities and flexible workspaces.
