STOCKHOLM, Sept. 16, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Sweden-based ERP specialist Implema is opening its first U.S. office in Raleigh, North Carolina this fall (Q4 2025). The new location, in the heart of the Research Triangle, positions Implema close to key customers and at the center of one of the nation's fastest-growing tech and innovation hubs.The expansion will be led by Tobias Simolin, appointed CEO of Implema U.S.

Earlier this year, Implema acquired CoreChange's SAP and BI operations, strengthening its position as Sweden's leading implementation partner for SAP and Microsoft Dynamics 365. Establishing a U.S. presence is the next step in this journey – growing not only in Sweden but internationally, in line with the increasingly global needs of its customers.

Implema Strengthens Global Footprint

Tobias Simolin to Lead U.S. Expansion

Heading the launch of Implema's U.S. operations is Tobias Simolin, Business Area Manager for Business Solutions in Stockholm. Simolin recently returned from a preparatory trip to the U.S., where he met with partners and began recruiting for the new organization.

A Major Milestone in Implema's Growth Journey

In recent years, Implema has experienced strong growth in the Swedish market. The North Carolina office strengthens the company's international presence and marks a major milestone in its strategy to expand with its customers and reinforce its global position.

Today, Implema operates ten offices across Sweden. The U.S. office will be the company's first location outside Sweden.

  • Local recruitment – 3-5 employees are expected to be hired within the first six months, with the first hire in place by Q4 2025.
