Hitachi-LG Data Storage Sells SK Hynix Heatsinks For PlayStation 5 With Exclusive Promotion

SEOUL , South Korea , Jan. 22, 2024 /PRNewswire/ -- On January 22, Hitachi-LG Data Storage Inc., the global sales and manufacturing partner of SK hynix , will launch the new "Haechi H01" heatsink, which designed specifically for the PlayStation 5. This innovative heatsink aims to maximize the cooling performance of the internal high-performance SSD P41 developed by SK hynix.

To promote the product, Hitachi-LG Data Storage is planning a global Amazon promotion starting on January 22nd in 9 countries and ending on February 4th: the USA , Canada , Mexico , Great Britain , Germany , France , Italy , Spain and Australia .

The Haechi H01 heat sink is manufactured using the latest CNC machining technology and is made from one piece. It has a heat dissipation area that is approximately 2.3 times larger than that of a standard M.2 SSD heatsink. The bottom of the heatsink is made of Thermal Interface Material (TIM), which is resistant to deformation due to heat and stress, increasing the durability of the product.

Hitachi-LG Data Storage Inc. has emphasized that the H01 heatsink is tailored for high-performance gaming and can maintain stable performance by balancing high speed and heat generation.

Additionally, Hitachi LG Data Storage plans to introduce a PlayStation 5 Slim-specific M.2 SSD heatsink from SK hynix in the near future.
