Safe Pro Groups AI Technologies Poised To Support Executive Orders On Drone Dominance And Airspace Sovereignty

Existing Capabilities Can Bolster Security for Mass Gatherings and Protect Critical Infrastructure with Drones and Artificial Intelligence
AVENTURA, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Safe Pro Group Inc. (Nasdaq: SPAI) (“Safe Pro” or the “Company”), a leader in AI-powered security solutions, announced today that its patented and real-world proven AI technologies are ready to be deployed in support of the President’s Executive Orders “Unleashing American Drone Dominance” and “Restoring American Airspace Sovereignty”, signed on June 6, 2025.
The Executive Orders establish a Federal Task Force to address unmanned aerial system (UAS) or drone threats, calls for enhanced drone detection and tracking capabilities, prioritizes American-made drone technologies for federal and state procurement and requires the FAA to identify and remove barriers to beyond visual line of site (BVLOS) waivers.
In line with the new Executive Orders, the Company plans to accelerate the deployment of AI-enhanced drone services specifically designed for security and public safety applications utilizing its patented Safe Pro Object Threat Detection (SPOTD) technology. New deployments may leverage advanced sensors and radars already operational as part of its Drone-as-a-First-Responder (DFR) solution currently in use by a Florida municipal police department. The enhanced DFR solutions can help security teams detect potential threats at mass gatherings including professional and collegiate sports venues.
Additionally, Safe Pro Group is well positioned to support these initiatives through its patented SpotlightAI™ platform, which uses artificial intelligence, machine learning, and computer vision to analyze drone imagery for threat detection. SpotlightAI™ has already proven its effectiveness in Ukraine, where it helped identify more than 27,000 explosive devices—a capability which can help domestic law enforcement and public safety personnel locate potential threats using drones.
“We are proud to contribute to America’s airspace sovereignty with our cutting-edge AI and drone solutions,” said Dan Erdberg, CEO of Safe Pro Group. “These Executive Orders underscore the importance of domestic innovation in countering UAS threats, and Safe Pro is ready to support federal, state, and local agencies with our advanced AI technology and services.”
Through its Airborne Response subsidiary, the Company is currently deploying fully integrated drone solutions for State, local and public safety agencies featuring:
- A turnkey system including operational support for law enforcement, public safety, and other first responders, assisting them in utilizing advanced, Florida law-compliant Blue UAS-type drone technologies for rapid incident response and assessment.
- Complete drone infrastructure system design, radar integration, specialized operational software development and ongoing maintenance and support.
- Assistance in obtaining FAA Beyond Visual Line of Sight (BVLOS) waivers and training procedures.
Key Opportunities for Safe Pro Group
- Advanced Drone Detection and Threat Identification: Safe Pro’s SpotlightAI™ platform and Safe Pro Object Threat Detection (SPOTD) align directly with federal goals for improved threat detection and threat mitigation.
- Grant Funding for Public Safety: The order’s directive to provide grants for state, local, tribal, and territorial agencies to acquire UAS equipment opens new opportunities for Safe Pro’s drone services through Airborne Response, already trusted by U.S. law enforcement.
- Preference for U.S.-Made Technologies: As a U.S.-based AI development company, Safe Pro aligns with the order’s focus on prioritizing American-made technologies, giving it a competitive edge in federal and state procurement processes.
- Critical Infrastructure Protection: Airborne Response is already providing drone surveillance of critical infrastructure. Utilizing Safe Pro’s AI ecosystem, infrastructure surveillance can be enhanced to ensure robust monitoring and protection of sensitive sites.
- Defense and National Security Contracts: With existing partnerships, including a recent MOU with a U.S. prime contractor for threat detection solutions, Safe Pro is well-positioned to pursue new contracts under the order’s national security framework.
Commitment to Innovation and Security
Safe Pro Group remains committed to advancing U.S. airspace security through its innovative technologies and strategic partnerships. In addition to its AI and drone capabilities, the Company manufactures ballistic protection products, including body armor and explosive ordnance disposal equipment, further supporting defense and public safety missions.
The Company’s AI-powered drone-based imagery analysis platform can detect and identify over 150 types of landmines and unexploded ordnance in a fraction of a second per image, rapidly delivering mission-critical situational awareness. Whether deployed on the edge in real-time (SpotlightAITM OnSite) or leveraging Amazon Web Services (AWS) on the cloud (SpotlightAITM), the Company’s Safe Pro Object Threat Detection (SPOTD) technology can scale globally, offering solutions for rapid battlefield analysis supporting large-scale commercial and humanitarian demining operations. Powering the Company’s SPOTD technology, Safe Pro’s unique real-world datasets include high-resolution drone imagery and GPS-tagged geospatial data encompassing over 1.62 million drone images analyzed to date, and 27,450+ threats identified across 6,614+ hectares in Ukraine, an area nearly equivalent in size to Manhattan.
