Partnering with Best Companies Group, Crain’s surveyed thousands of employees at Chicago-based companies to select the best places to work. The awards program is designed to identify, recognize, and honor the 100 best companies to work for in the Chicago area.
Determining the Best Places to Work in Chicago list is a comprehensive two-step process. First, each company is evaluated on its workplace policy, practices, and demographics, which contributes 25% of the overall score. Second, employee surveys are assessed on the overall experience and attitudes of individual employees with respect to their workplace, which contributes 75% of the final score. The combined scores determine the best companies and the final rankings.
