FRESNO, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Netafim USA, a subsidiary of Netafim Ltd. – the global leader in precision irrigation solutions – will proudly exhibit its suite of precision irrigation solutions at the Southeast Regional Fruit & Vegetable Conference in Savannah, Georgia, from January 6 – 7, 2023.
Notably, Netafim will showcase and live demo products including:
- AlphaDisc™, its highly-acclaimed filter designed to protect irrigation systems against clogging caused by organic contaminants. In December 2022, AlphaDisc was named the Bronze winner of the 2022 Irrigation Association’s New Product Contest in agriculture irrigation.
- Hydrocyclone, a revolutionary filter that uses a conical-shaped separator that accelerates the velocity of water, maximizing separation of sand and other solid matter to protect the irrigation components from damage and abrasion. It will launch in the U.S. in 2023.
Up to 70% of water used for agriculture irrigation is surface water from reservoirs, lakes, canals and ponds, which contain algae and other organic contaminants that increase the risk of clogging. For growers, a high-quality filtration system is vital to adapting to ever-changing conditions that affect their water supply while remaining productive.
The company will also highlight FlexNet, the industry’s only leak-proof flexible pipe that is ideal for horticultural and agricultural applications. The unique integral welded connectors provide faster layout and retrieval, which helps growers save up to 30% on labor costs. It can be used on-surface or subsurface and requires no specialized tools for installation.
Netafim experts in attendance include Rhett Wright, Vice President of Agriculture Sales; Melissa Lilze, National Sales Director; Brian Shade, Regional Sales Manager East; and Roy Levinson, Commercial Lead - Digital Farming.
“Netafim is proud to play a role in driving the adoption of innovative precision irrigation solutions so growers can continue to be productive in the face of very challenging conditions across the Southeast and the entire country,” said Melissa Lilze, National Sales Director of Netafim USA. “Our participation in the Southeast Regional Fruit & Vegetable Conference is especially important because it brings together thousands of growers and ag industry professionals, and having a presence here allows us to engage and educate them about the benefits of precision irrigation.”
